1) How long is each treatment session?
Each session usually takes at least 45min.
2) Do I need to make an appointment?
Yes please. We will send you a reminder sms 1 day before for your appointment. Kindly notify us of any cancellation so that we can fit in other patients.
3) Do I need a doctor’s referral?
No, as are trained to assess and treat your condition. If your condition requires more investigation, we will refer you to the suitable specialist/practitioner.
4) Are you open on Sundays and public holidays?
No we are not, but we are open till 8pm Mon-Fri to cater to our busy executives (last appt 7pm).
5) How many sessions do I need to come for?
This depends on your diagnosis/problem. Your therapist will assess you in your 1st session and advise you. Simple cases take 3-5 sessions while complicated cases take 5-8 sessions. One should obtain improvement in the 1st 3 sessions, if not, we would advise you on the appropriate management.
6) What does the physiotherapist do?
The sessions will consist of assessment, treatment, evaluation, education & exercise prescription.
7) How fast will I recover?
Most patients have very good results if they are consistent with their appointments and compliant in following the home exercise program given by the physiotherapist.
8) Do I need to bring my x-ray or MRI?
If you have any x-ray or MRI, do bring them. If you do not have any, it is fine. If it is necessary for you to go for an x-ray or MRI, we will advise you.
9) Do you have packages?
We believe in getting our patients well in the shortest period of time. We advocate a proactive attitude towards your own recovery and not dependency on therapy.
10) Will my company or insurance pay for physiotherapy?
Each company or insurance has its own specific health benefits or reimbursements. Please check with your human resource department. We are able to bill Vista, Aviva, ISOS, UWC and NIPPON directly (We would need documents to verify).
11) Do you do house calls?
On a case by case basis only. We will see patients who are debilitated and unable to come out for therapy due to the severity of their conditions or immobility.
